When	Saturday, April 14, 2007 1 ~ 4pm The room will be open at a quarter to 1pm. We would appreciate it if we could start the meeting at 1pm. Please plan to arrive on time.

What	There will be a few important announcements, such as introduction of the new MJA staff members for the year 2007 and the annual financial report. Movie showing will follow the meeting. We are planning on showing "Always san chome no yuhi."

All Annual Events
Late August	Day trip
	It is intended to give an opportunity for new members to do some sightseeing outside of the Madison city area. Members either rent a van(s) or drive their cars (giving a ride to those without a car). Drinks are provided, but Members must bring their own lunches. Members must make a reservation beforehand and pay attendance fees.
Late September	Welcoming Potluck Party
	Welcome new members and meet old and new friends! Members and non-members bring a dish to share (preferably non-snacks).
Late January	New Year Party
	Celebrate a new year together! Members and non-members bring a dish to share (preferably non-snacks).
Early April	General Meeting and Lecture
	MJA officers make an annual report of the organization's activities and financial condition for the preceding fiscal year. MJA hosts a lecture about Japan. Topics range from contemporary political, economical and cultural affairs to traditional culture and history.
Late May	BBQ Party
	MJA hosts a BBQ party in one of the Madison city parks.
